Name: RGV German Club
Purpose: To educate and inform members about the German language and culture. In addition, the organization hosts events and fundraisers in order to unite members and collect funds for scholarships to study abroad.

Activities: The organization held a German music spring concert and is preparing to host its first Oktoberfest. Other activities include social gatherings and German movie showings.
Awards: Two study abroad scholarships for organization members.
Meetings: 12:15-1:30 p.m. Tuesdays in Sabal Hall 2.102 on the Brownsville campus
Membership requirements: Open to all majors.
