Hasta La Vista 2018!
The Counseling Center will host Hasta La Vista 2018! an event to welcome 2019 and let go of negativity, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Union on the Edinburg campus. On the Brownsville campus, the event will take place at the same time in the Student Union’s La Sala. Students can create positive messages for 2019 and meet the UTRGV Counseling Center staff. Billiards Tournament
The Student Union will host a billiards tournament at noon in the game room on the Brownsville campus. On the Edinburg campus, the event will take place at the same time Thursday in the game room. Students can play for free and get a chance to earn V-Bucks. For more information, call 665-7890.

Back to School Night
The UTRGV Women’s Basketball Team faces Utah Valley at 7 p.m. in the Fieldhouse on the Edinburg campus. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free with a valid student ID. A watch party will be held at Adolios restaurant in Brownsville. For more information, call 665-3415.

DREAM Zone Advocate Training
A three-session program will be offered to create a safe, supportive and inclusive community for undocumented and DACA students. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in Cortez Hall 118 on the Brownsville campus. Sessions will be offered in a block format. Participants who attend all three sessions will have the option to become a recognized Dream Zone Advocate. For more information, email dos@utrgv.edu.
