“All My Toys,” a tribute to Assistant Professor Bill Haugeberg’s instruments presented in collaboration with Associate Professor Juan Pablo Andrade on piano, will take place at 7 p.m in the Texas Southmost College Performing Arts Center on the Brownsville campus. Admission is free.
‘My Free Taxes’
UTRGV will host “MyFreeTaxes-Learn to File” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday through March 2 at U Central on the Edinburg
campus and Main 2.503 on the Brownsville campus for staff, students and their families. Each site has computers and a VITA certified tax professional available to assist users in filing their tax return. VITA services are available for free for households with incomes of $54,000 or less.

‘Moonlight’
The movie “Moonlight” will be shown at 11 a.m. in Salón Cassia on the Brownsville campus. Free popcorn and drinks will be available.

2019 Year of the Pig
International Admissions & Student Services will host the Lunar New Year celebration at noon in the Ballroom on the Edinburg campus. Special performances, free food, games and other activities will be available at the event.

BelieVe in a Cure
The UTRGV Women’s Basketball Team will host Grand Canyon University at 7 p.m. in the Fieldhouse on the Edinburg campus. Attendees
are encouraged to wear pink to increase breast cancer awareness. The first 200 attendees will receive a “BelieVe in a Cure” rally towel. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at tickets@utrgv.edu. For more information, call 665-3415.
Cultural chat
Alexandra Hughes, assistant director of Student Rights and Responsibilities, will present a lecture on colorism at 7 p.m. in the University Center lobby on the Edinburg campus. The event is in observance of Black History Month. Saturday
Baseball Fan Day
UTRGV Baseball will host an Orange vs. Gray scrimmage at 1 p.m. in the baseball stadium on the Edinburg campus. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and admission is $1. Before the scrimmage, a youth clinic will be conducted at 11 a.m. for children ages 5 to 12
years.

FBI Special Agent Jessica Triola will speak on “Using Humanities Skills in the Professional World: How an English Major Became an FBI Special Agent” from 10:50 a.m. to noon on Feb. 11 in Health Affairs Building West 2.212 on the Edinburg campus. On the Brownsville campus, there will be an ITV transmission in Sabal Hall 1.108. Free food will be available at both locations.
