Border economics symposium
The Border Economics, Development and Entrepreneurship Symposium, or B.E.D.E.S. 2015, will take place from 8:15 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. Tuesday at the McAllen Country Club, 615 Wichita Ave. Experts from the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and community leaders will discuss transportation and electronic infrastructure of the region and what the future will likely hold for the economy of the border region.
