University Recreation will have a smoothie bar, healthy eating tips, recipes, food samples and goodies for all members from noon to 1 p.m. in the University Recreation Conference Room on the Edinburg campus.

Free ice cream with various toppings to choose from will be served starting at 12:15 p.m. in the Student Union Commons on the Edinburg campus.
Tuesday
Lunar New Year
The Campus Activities Board will have free food and activities for students to learn about Asian traditions. The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Ballroom on the Edinburg campus.
Super Smash Bros. Tournament
The Student Union will host a Super Smash Bros. tournament at 12:30 p.m. in the Game Room on the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses. The top three finalists will be awarded VBucks.
UNO Tournament
An UNO tournament will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the Game Room on the Brownsville campus. Students will have the opportunity to win VBucks.
Disney Movie Marathon
The Campus Activities Board will have a Disney movie marathon from 3 to 8:30 p.m. in the PlainsCapital Bank Theater in the Student Union on the Edinburg campus and at the same time Wednesday in Salón Cassia on the Brownsville campus.
Wednesday
Get Out the Count
Students can learn census facts by playing the prize wheel trivia game starting at noon in the Student Union Commons on the Edinburg campus.
Thursday
Women’s Basketball
The UTRGV Women’s Basketball Team will face off against Kansas City University at 7 p.m. in the Fieldhouse on the Edinburg campus. Admission is free for all UTRGV students with a valid ID. Fans are encouraged to wear pink to raise breast cancer awareness for Believe in a Cure night.
Phil and Sophie’s Coffee House
The Philosophy Department will host a philosophic discussion every Thursday from 5:15 to 7 p.m. on the Jazzman’s Patio on the Edinburg campus.
Lotería Evening
Students can play lotería starting at 4 p.m. in the Student Union food court on the Edinburg campus.
Philosophy for everyone
The fifth part of the UTRGV Philosophy for Everyone Series will have lecturer Remei Capdecvila Werning discuss, “The impossible questions-what is art?” starting at 6 p.m. located at 1900 Nolana Ave., McAllen.

The Ballet Folklórico will celebrate its 50th anniversary with performances starting at 7:30 p.m. today and Saturday in the Performing Arts Complex on the Edinburg campus.
