Six more positive COVID-19 cases in the county were confirmed by Cameron County Public Health in a news release Monday.
Five of the cases are individuals from Harlingen, including four males ages 29 to 65 and a 52-year-old female.
The sixth case is an 18-year-old female from Brownsville who did not report travel outside Cameron County or contact with another positive case.
All cases are under isolation

Seven additional cases of COVID-19 were confirmed Saturday in Cameron County, officials said, bringing the total number of positive cases to 20.
According to a news release from Cameron County Public Health, one of the cases was a 43-year-old male from Brownsville who did not report travel outside of Cameron County or exposure to other cases. This would mark the second community transmission in the county.
The additional cases are all travel-related, are under isolation and include:
–a 38-year-old female from Brownsville;
–a 21-year-old male from Brownsville;
–a 31-year-old male from Brownsville;
–a 53-year-old male from Brownsville;
–a 50-year-old female from San Benito; and,
–a 62-year-old male from Los Fresnos.
