Day of the Dead talk
Students can learn about the significance of the Day of the Dead during a People Series discussion at noon via Zoom. The event, hosted by the Center for Diversity & Inclusion and DREAM Resource Center, is designed for the UTRGV community to learn about influential people and discuss the impact of their work. DIY Day of the Dead
Students can participate in face painting, ceramic skull painting and DIY Minnie Mouse concha ears from 4 to 7 p.m. via Zoom. The event is hosted by the Campus Activities Board and Student Union. The first 15 students who registered via VLink were contacted to pick up the materials and other students will receive an email with the list of the materials they need for the event.
Wednesday
We love the ’90s!
The University Library will host a ’90s discussion from noon to 12:45 p.m. via Zoom. RSVP is available on VLink.
Ask the Career Center
Students can discuss resumes, job search strategies, internships, interviews, etc. with the Career Center staff from 2:30 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday via Zoom. Register on Handshake or email careercenter@utrgv.edu.

Super Smash Bros. Tourney
The Student Union will host a Super Smash Bros. Tournament at 7 p.m. Students must create a Discord account to participate. RSVP is available on VLink.

People Series: Brené Brown
Students can learn about University of Houston social work Research Professor Brené Brown’s work on vulnerability, courage, shame and empathy from 2 to 3:30 p.m. via Zoom. Brown is the author of the five New York Times bestsellers, including “Dare to Lead.” RSVP is available on VLink.
