Ashley Pena, a communications junior, and Desiree Swope, a psychology sophomore, voted on the SGA Referendum last Wednesday in the Student Union on the Edinburg campus. Voting took place from 8 a.m. Monday to 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

Elections for the Student Government Association Referendum ran from Nov. 8 to the 10. Students had the opportunity to vote on a proposed increase to the intercollegiate athletics fee that would establish a women’s swimming and diving program, marching band programs, a football program and expand spirit programs.
