The following are among the incidents reported to University Police between Sept. 2 and 5.
Sept. 2
10:25 a.m.: Officers came upon a single-motor-vehicle collision with a fire hydrant on the 300 block of North Sugar Road in Edinburg. No injuries were reported.
11:33 a.m.: An employee reported losing his wallet in the Robert C. Vackar College of Business and Entrepreneurship building on the Edinburg campus.
Sept. 3
1:35 a.m.: While on foot patrol at Rusteberg Hall in Brownsville, an officer noticed damages to the lower corner of the exterior glass sliding door. A work order was generated for repairs.
Sept. 5
5:05 p.m.: A Student Rights and Responsibilities employee reported being concerned about the well-being of a non-affiliated man. An officer made contact with the man’s mother at their Harlingen residence. She informed the officer that her son is a mental health consumer and was currently being treated by a doctor. The information was confirmed through prior reports.
