The Center for Student Involvement will distribute information about the Student Leader Recognition Ceremony applications from noon to 1 p.m. in the Student Union on both campuses.
Pre-Dental Society Meeting
The Pre-Dental Society will have its first general meeting of the spring semester from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 2.219 on the Brownsville campus and at the same time in the Health Affairs Building West Room 2.212 on the Edinburg campus. The meeting will emphasize volunteer opportunities, informative dental school panels and discuss dental problems. Free food will be available.
K.I.S.S. Meeting
The Korean International Student Society will meet to talk about Korean culture, music and language from 3:45 to 5:15 p.m. today through Thursday in the Student Academic Center Room 1.101 on the Edinburg campus.

Engage with the Chamber
The Brownsville Chamber of Commerce will provide information to seek a deeper understanding of how the organization can elevate local businesses from 10 to 11 a.m. at 1600 W. University Blvd.
Black History Month Kickoff
The Center for Student Involvement will host a discussion, in observance of Black History Month, to celebrate the rich cultural heritage and contributions of the black community. The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the Edinburg campus.
German Club
RGV German Club members will meet from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. in Main Building Room 2.502 on the Brownsville campus.
Magician and Illusionist
Anthony Hernandez, a magician and illusionist based in Los Angeles, will perform from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Southern Comfort RV Resort on 1501 S. Airport Drive on Weslaco. Admission is $12 at the door.
Wednesday
Free Lunch
The Catholic Student Association will serve free lunch to all UTRGV students, faculty and staff from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Newman Student Catholic Center on the Edinburg campus. The event will take place every Wednesday until the end of the semester.
Spanish Bible Study
The Baptist Student Ministry will host a Spanish Bible study from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Science Building on the Edinburg campus.

Delight Chapter Meeting
Delight Ministries will host a meeting to talk about worshipping from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. in Liberal Arts Building South Room 177 on the Edinburg campus.
Educator Appreciation Event
Main Event will host an appreciation party for all school teachers, administrators and coaches from 5 to 7 p.m. at 2320 Frontage Road, in Brownsville. The entrance includes unlimited activities and 60 minutes of free game play.

Dye-Hard Orange 5K
The School of Podiatric Medicine, Student Government Association and University Recreation will host the Dye-Hard Orange 5K, a colorful fun run/walk to promote wellness, UTRGV spirit and pride from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Harlingen Clinical Education Building.
