Who is your favorite athlete? “My favorite athlete has always been Patrice Evra [soccer] because he plays the same position I do, so I always looked up to him.”
Who is your role model? “I think my dad because he’s real hardworking and an honest man.”
What was the best advice you’ve been given and by whom? “I think it’s from my mom. She told me to work hard in everything you do whether it be soccer or academics, so I just always took that to heart.”
When did you begin playing soccer, and why? “I started when I was 4 or 5 because my dad introduced me to a team, and it just took off from there.”
What’s your favorite place to hang out on campus? “I would say the union because you have all types of food, and then the game room upstairs, you have Xbox, PlayStation, pool tables and other stuff. It’s just a fun place to be.”
What are your academic goals? “Just try to get the highest [grade-point average] I can.”
How do you feel about being part of this team? “It’s an honor, you know, being able to play, and get an education.”
What are your personal goals for this season? “Make it as far as we can in the WAC tournament, and hopefully get into the NCAA tournament.”
