Celebrate Earth Day at Earth Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus. In Edinburg, the event will take place at the same time Thursday on the Student Union lawn. The event will feature movies, arts, crafts and snacks. For more information, call 882-8292.
Symphony orchestra
The UTRGV Symphony Orchestra will perform its final concert of the season at 7 p.m. in the Texas Southmost College Performing Arts Center in Brownsville. Chess Club meetings

Taco ’Bout It Some More

The Office for Victim Advocacy & Violence Prevention will observe Denim Day at 11 a.m. in the Student Union north lawn on the Edinburg campus. The Office for Victim Advocacy & Violence Prevention will host a 5K Color Run for Violence Awareness. Check in is at 5:30 p.m. and the run starts at 6 p.m. in the rotunda of the Biomedical Research Building on the Brownsville campus. The first 100 participants to register will receive a free T-shirt. Super Smash Bros. tournament

Friday
The Western Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament will take place Friday through Sunday at the Brownsville Tennis Center. UTRGV Women’s Tennis will host Chicago State University at 9 a.m. Friday in the first round of matches. UTRGV Men’s Tennis will play against Chicago State at 1 p.m. Friday. Tournament semifinals will be on Saturday and the championship matches on Sunday. Admission is free. For more information, call 665-3415.
