Campfire Building
University Recreation will host clinics for campfire construction, starting methods and fire safety at 12:15 p.m. on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus and at the same time on the Chapel lawn on the Edinburg campus. Graduation Bash
The Alumni Relations Office will host a Graduation Bash for students graduating in Fall 2019 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Library lobby on the Edinburg campus and at the same time in the PlainsCapital Bank El Gran Salón on the Brownsville campus. Cultural Café: Open Mic Night
Students can showcase their talents and enjoy free cookies and hot chocolate in an Open Mic Night in honor of Filipino American History from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Music, Science & Learning Center lobby on the Brownsville campus. For more information, email culturalcouncil@utrgv.edu.
Lunchtime ‘Harry Potter’ Trivia

Pumpkin Carving Contest
Students can participate in a pumpkin carving contest at 9 a.m. at the Student Union East Patio on the Edinburg campus. The top three finalists will be awarded VBucks.

Poker Tournament
Students can participate in the Student Union poker tournament for a chance to win VBucks. Free popcorn will be provided at 12:30 p.m. in the Game Room on the Brownsville campus.
Fright Fest
Fright Fest, a night of free food, DJ music, dancing and a haunted house will take place at 7 p.m. in the Student Union on the Edinburg campus.

Super Smash Bros. Tournament
The Student Union will host a Super Smash Bros. tournament at 12:30 p.m. in the game rooms on the Brownsville and Edinburg campuses. Finalists will be awarded VBucks. For more information, email studentunion@utrgv.edu or call 665-7898.
Public Heritage Lecture
Laura Schiavo, an associate professor of museum studies at George Washington University, will present a lecture titled “Preserving Heritage Interpreting History and the Meaning of ‘Diversity’” at 3:30 p.m. in Liberal Arts Building North 1.101 on the Edinburg campus.The lecture is part of UTRGV’s Public Heritage Series.
Volleyball game
The UTRGV Volleyball Team will face off against Seattle University at 7 p.m. in the Fieldhouse on the Edinburg campus. Admission is free to all UTRGV students with a valid ID.
