Free flu shots
UTRGV Health Services will administer free flu shots for students from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at its clinic in Cortez Hall 237 on the Brownsville campus and its clinic at 613 N. Mariachi Aztlán
UTRGV’s Mariachi Aztlán will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in the Performing Arts Complex on the Edinburg campus. The group will be joined onstage by the UTRGV Mariachi Juvenil Aztlán, UTRGV Ballet Folklórico, the Palmview and La Joya High School Mariachis(Friday), and the Roma High School and McAllen High School mariachi groups (Saturday). Blue Ribbon 5k Run/Walk
The American Marketing Association-Edinburg will host a Blue Ribbon 5K Run/Walk at 8 a.m. Feb.20 in the Edinburg Municipal Park, 714 S. Raul Longoria Rd. AMA-Edinburg has teamed up with the RGV Diabetes Association to raise awareness of this disease. All proceeds will go to the RGV Diabetes Association. Early registration is $20 for adults, $25 for an adult with a child and $10 for children between the ages of 13 and 17.
