Linda English, a history associate professor, and Andrew Smith, a political science lecturer, will present on land disputes and the implications of current Supreme Court rulings, followed by a Q&A via Zoom. ‘Mock Interviewing-Nailed It!’
Students can practice their interview skills anonymously via group interviews with the guidance of career advisers and student career advisers from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. The event, “Mock Interviewing-Nailed It!” is based on the Netflix show, “Love is Blind,” and is part of the Career Center’s Original Interviewing Series, Professionalism is Blind. Virtual Playlist Bingo
The Campus Activities Board will host Virtual Playlist Bingo at 6 p.m. Students must RSVP on VLink to participate and receive the Zoom link. Winners will receive money.
Soap Operas & Telenovelas
Students can join the University Library for a discussion on their favorite soap operas and telenovelas via Zoom from noon to 12:45 p.m. RSVP is available on VLink.
Ask the Career Center
Students can discuss resumes, job search strategies, internships and interviews, etc., with the Career Center staff from 2:30 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday via Zoom. Register on Handshake or email careercenter@utrgv.edu.
