Cut Out and Collage 

The Student Union will host a how-to session on collages by lecturer Carl Vestweber from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom. RSVP is available on VLink and the Zoom link will be emailed the day of the event.

Movie Monday: ‘Becoming’ 

Join the Cultural Council as it celebrates Women’s History Month by watching “Becoming” from 7 to 9 p.m. via Zoom. “Becoming” is a movie about former first lady Michelle Obama. RSVP is available on VLink.

The People Series: Dolores Huerta 

Learn about the legacy of American labor leader and civil rights activist Dolores Huerta from 2 to 3:30 p.m. via Zoom hosted by the Center for Diversity & Inclusion and DREAM Resource Center.  RSVP is available on VLink 

Super Smash Bros. Tournament 

The Student Union will host a Super Smash Bros. online tournament from 5 to 6 p.m. Participants must RSVP on VLink and have a Discord account. The top finisher will win a UTRGV bundle prize.

Wednesday

Taylor Swift Party

The Campus Activities Board will host a watch party for “Taylor Swift reputation Stadium Tour”  from 5 to 7:30 p.m. via Zoom. Attending the watch party will enter students for a chance to win Taylor Swift merchandise. RSVP is available on VLink. 

Focus Group 

Leadership and Mentoring is looking for student participants for a focus group to provide feedback on rewards for a student involvement engagement program from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. Participants will receive a Leadership and Mentoring swag bag. RSVP is available on VLink.

Big Heads and Beats 

Get a digital caricature by a professional caricaturist from 4 to 6 p.m. via Zoom. Hosted by Student Activities, participants will receive an email with their digital caricatures after the event. RSVP is available on VLink.

Luncho Libre: Textbook Talks Edition 

Join the University Library to discuss prices and how to get free textbooks from noon to 12:45 p.m. via Zoom. RSVP is available on VLink. 

CAB Zoomba

The Campus Activities Board is collaborating with University Recreation for its first CAB Zoomba, a Zumba class led by a professional from 3 to 4 p.m. via Zoom. Attending the event will enter participants in a raffle to win AirPods, a Bluetooth speaker, a Hydro Flask or UREC bundles. RSVP is available on VLink.

DACA Info Session  

The Center for Diversity & Inclusion and DREAM Resource Center will host a DACA informational session from 4 to 6 p.m. via Zoom. Learn about the DACA Application, what you need to prepare and tips on how to complete the application by Abraham Diaz, an immigration services provider at La Unión Del Pueblo Entero.
