ASL Club
The ASL Club will host an online event to learn basic American Sign Language from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Students of all majors can expand their knowledge, play some games and practice their

Pre-PA Society
The Pre-Physician Assistant Society will conduct its first
official meeting of the semester from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. The society will review plans and events it has for this semester and the opportunities associated with membership. RSVP is

Thriving Study Halls
The Women in STEM Programs organization will host a virtual
study hall from 3:30 to 5 p.m. via Zoom. Assignment assistance and studying motivation may

Percussion Concert
Marco Schirripa, an assistant professor in the School of Music,
will present music for solo percussion by a wide range of composers at 7 p.m. in
the UTRGV Performing Arts Complex on the Edinburg campus. Admission is free. The concert
is part of the Patron of the Arts series.

Professional Development
Steve Chamberlain, a professor in the Human Development and School Services department, will
speak about the Step Up Program and its benefits from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom. The event will

WISP General Meeting

Saturday
9/11 Memorial Concert
The Patron of the Arts program will host a memorial concert for the 20th anniversary of the
events of 9/11 at 7 p.m. in the UTRGV Performing Arts Complex on the Edinburg campus. The concert will feature a musical and poetical collection of memories, impressions and reflections.
