The Korean International Student Society will conduct a general meeting from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. today and 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Wednesday in Education Complex 2.102 on the Edinburg campus. Sex-Education
Access for Sex-Education will host an informational tabling from noon to 2 p.m. at the Student Union on the Edinburg campus. Organization members will pass out resource information, where to find services for reproductive health and hand out condoms.
Coffee and Conversation
The Civic Engagement Alliance will host an informational session from 2 to 3 p.m. via Zoom for Athletics to discuss the referendum that will be voted on in November.The event will take place at the same time in person in the University Ballroom on the Edinburg campus. RSVP is available on V Link.
Thriving Study Halls
The Women in STEM Programs organization will host a virtual study hall from 3:30 to 5 p.m. via Zoom. Assignment assistance and studying motivation may be provided. RSVP is available on V Link.
Tote’al Madness
The Campus Activities Board will host Tote’al Madness to DIY a tote bag from 4 to 6 p.m. on the Chapel Lawn on the Edinburg campus and at the same time Tuesday on the Student Union lawn in Brownsville. RSVP is available on V Link.

Holy Mass
The Catholic Campus Ministry will conduct the sacrament of the Eucharist in Mass from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Newman Catholic Student Center, 1615 W. Kuhn St. in Edinburg.
Fall Concert
School of Music Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Studies Sean Taylor and Assistant Professor of Choral Studies Matthew Coffey will conduct the university choirs in its first live performance since December 2019 at 7 p.m. in the Texas Southmost College Performing Arts Complex in Brownsville and at the same time Wednesday in the UTRGV Performing Arts Center on the Edinburg campus. Admission is free. The concert is part of the Student Performance Series. The performance will feature music by J.S. Bach, Morten Lauridsen, Mari Esabel Valverdi and more.

Coffee and Careers

The Chess Club will host chess night from 5 to 6 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Engineering and Academic Building 2.207 on the Edinburg campus and from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Sabal Hall 2.102 on the Brownsville campus.

Civic Lotería
The Civic Engagement Alliance will host a Civic Lotería with a twist of CEA from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus and at the same time at the Student Union lawn on the Edinburg campus.
ASL Club Meeting
The ASL Club will host an online event to learn basic American Sign Language from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Students of all majors can expand their knowledge, play games and practice their skills at the event. RSVP is available on V Link.

First Year Experience will host FYE October Arts & Crafts from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Interdisciplinary Academic Building, Room 1.205, on the Brownsville campus and at the same time in the Student Academic Center, Room 1.102, on the Edinburg campus.

Saxophone and Percussion Concert
Saxophonist Josiah Boornazian, a School of Music assistant professor, and percussionist Mark Ramirez, a School of Music professor, will perform in concert at 7 p.m. in the Texas Southmost College Performing Arts Complex in Brownsville. Admission is free. The concert is part of the Faculty Artist Series.
‘The Weird’
The UTRGV Theatre Department will present “The Weird” at 7:30 p.m. in the Albert L. Jeffers Theatre on the Edinburg campus and at the same time Saturday with an ASL interpretation. The play is based on playwright and comic book writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s love letter to horror comics. Admission is free.

Mariachi Aztlán Concert
Mariachi Aztlán and Mariachi Juvenil Aztlán will perform in concert at 2 p.m. in the UTRGV Performing Arts Center on the Edinburg campus Saturday and at the same time Sunday. The concert is part of the Patron of the Arts. Admission is free. The concert is part of the Student Performance Series.
