National Pokรฉmon Day
The Student Union will celebrate National Pokรฉmon Day from noon to 1 p.m. in the Student Union Game Room on the Edinburg campus and at the same time in the Student Unionโs La Sala on the Brownsville campus. Students can play Pokรฉmon trivia, win prizes and trade cards with others.
Undergraduate Research
The Office of Engaged Scholarship and Learning invites freshman students to submit a scholarly proposal for Scholarly Undergraduate Based Interdisciplinary Research (SUBIR). SUBIR engages freshman students in undergraduate research, creative works and community engagement initiatives by providing mentor-mentee matching, professional development seminars and proposal writing guidance. The application period opens today and ends March 31. Students can submit applications online at bit.ly/SUBIR-Submit.
BSM Henna Tattoos
The Baptist Student Ministry will give free henna tattoos from 3 to 4:15 p.m. at the library on the Edinburg campus. Students can get a henna tattoo and learn about its history.
Tuesday
Boots to the Ballot
The Civic Engagement Alliance will host Boots to the Ballot from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Student Union Patio on the Edinburg campus and at the same time on the Student Union veranda on the Brownsville campus to promote voting in the Texas primary election. There will be free food, games and activities.
K.I.S.S. Food Fundraiser
The Korean International Student Society will host a ramen and Asian snacks fundraiser from noon to 2:30 p.m. in the University Library Courtyard on the Edinburg campus.
Wednesday
Lana Condor Speech Set
The Distinguished Speaker Series will host Lana Condor, advocate and actress, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom. Register for the event through V Link.
Thursday
K.I.S.S. Just Dance
The Korean International Student Society will host a game of Just Dance from 6 to 8 p.m. in Education Complex Room 2.102 on the Edinburg campus. Students are invited to come play and learn more about K.I.S.S.
CEA General Meeting
The Civic Engagement Alliance will conduct a general meeting from 1 to 2 p.m. via Zoom. Students are invited to come and learn more about the CEA. Register for the event through V Link.

SFAC Meeting
