Professional Headshot
The Student Leadership Academy and Center for Student Involvement will host professional headshots from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in University Center Room 205 on the Edinburg campus and at the same time in Music, Science and Learning Center Room 1.105 on the Brownsville campus. The headshots will be free.
Affinity Space
The Council for Cultural Activities and Center for Student Involvement will host Finding Your Familia: Asian/Asian American Affinity Space from 1 to 2 p.m. in Music, Science and Learning Center Room 1.105 on the Brownsville campus and from 5 to 6 p.m. in University Center Room 205 on the Edinburg campus. Affinity spaces are dedicated to bringing people who share similar identities together. The spaces on campus are hosted for students to connect and build community. There will be activities, music and food.
Clarinet Recital
The School of Music will host a Clarinet Ensemble Spring Concert at 7 p.m. in the Library Auditorium on the Edinburg campus and at the same time Tuesday in Music, Science and Learning Center Room 1.217 on the Brownsville campus. The event is part of the Patron of the Arts Student Performance Series. Admission is free.

Slam Poetry, Open Mic
The Council for Cultural Activities and Center for Student Involvement will host a night of Slam Poetry and Open Mic from 5 to 6 p.m. in Music, Science and Learning Center Room 1.105 on the Brownsville campus and at the same time in the Student Union Cafe on the Edinburg campus.
Wednesday
K.I.S.S. Fundraiser
The Korean International Student Society will host a ramen and Asian snacks fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the University Library courtyard on the Edinburg campus.
State of RGV Conference
The Civic Engagement Alliance will host its annual State of the RGV Conference from 1:30 to 5 p.m. in the PlainsCapital Bank Student Union Theater on the Edinburg campus and at the same time Thursday in the PlainsCapital Bank El Gran Salón on the Brownsville campus. The UTRGV community can hear from their elected representatives on issues that the Rio Grande Valley is facing and solutions they are creating to solve those issues.
Thursday
Movie Night
The Student Leadership Academy and Center for Student Involvement will show “Encanto” from 5 to 7 p.m. in Music, Science and Learning Center Room 1.105 on the Brownsville campus and from 7 to 9 p.m. in Student Academic Center Room 1.112 on the Edinburg campus. The movie tells the story of the Madrigals, an extraordinary family with magical gifts. Every child in the family was given a unique gift except Mirabel, who must figure out how to save the magic and their home.
Cello Recital
The School of Music will host a Cello Recital at 7 p.m. in the Library Auditorium on the Edinburg campus. The event is part of the Patron of the Arts Student Performance Series. Admission is free.
Friday
Art Exhibit Opens
The “Blood Sweat Tears” art exhibit will open with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Visual Arts Building Gallery. The exhibit is part of the UTRGV undergraduate students senior exhibit. The event is hosted by the School of Art and Design. The show will run through April 28.
Earth Day
The Campus Activities Board will host pot painting and seed planting from noon to 2 p.m. on the Student Union Chapel Lawn on the Edinburg campus and at the same time on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus. The seeds and pots will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
