The Civic Engagement Alliance and Student Activities will host early voting for the Special Constitutional Amendment & Local Entities Election from 7 a.m to 7 p.m. today and Tuesday in Student Academic Center 1.100 on the Edinburg campus.
Spring Flute Recital
The School of Music will host a Spring Flute Recital at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Library Auditorium on the Edinburg campus. The event is part of the Patron of the Arts Student Performance Series. Admission is free.
Violin Recital
The School of Music will host a Spring Viola/Violin Recital at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Complex Choir Hall on the Edinburg campus. The event is part of the Patron of the Arts Student Performance Series. Admission is free.
Tuesday
Breakfast Wrangler
The Student Union will host a Breakfast Wrangler from 10 a.m. to noon on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus and at the same time Wednesday on the Student Union Chapel Lawn on the Edinburg campus. Students can receive a free breakfast and play games to relieve pre-final exams stress.
First SGA Meeting
The Student Government Association will hold its first senate meeting of 2022-2023 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the Edinburg campus. Students can also join through Zoom. RSVP through V Link.
Wednesday
Film Screening
The University Library will host a film screening of โSeoul Stationโ from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in University Library Room 1.118 on the Brownsville campus. The animated prequel to โTrain to Busanโ follows a man sleeping in a train station who becomes a catalyst for a rapidly spreading infection in downtown Seoul. The event is part of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month.
Thursday
Mi Loteria
The School of Rehabilitation Services and Counseling and the Graduate Rehabilitation Counseling Association will hold Mi Loteria! Expressive Arts Study Break from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the University Center Ballroom. Students can make a personalized loteria card.
Duck Head Trials
University Recreation will host โDuck Head Trials,โ based on the โHarry Potterโ series, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Duck Head property on the Brownsville campus. The events for the competition are modified versions of Quidditch and Wizard Duels. Registration is not required. The first 100 students will receive free T-shirts.ย
