Student Activities will host the Homecoming Block Party on the Student Union lawn on the Brownsville campus. The event will be an afternoon of live music, creative activities, and school spirit to campus, with former American Idol contestant, Brody Rivers.

Swiftie Karaoke
The Student Union Game Room will host a Swiftie Karaoke event from 1 to 2 p.m. on the Edinburg campus. Students can register on VLink or at the Game Room to participate. A student ID is required.
BSM Snackity Snack
The Baptist Student Ministry will host “Snackity Snack” from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the Student Union East Patio on the Edinburg campus. Members will socialize and share the Gospel with students through snacks.
Window Painting Contest
The Student Unions will host a Window Painting Contest that will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Brownsville and Edinburg campuses throughout Homecoming Week. All registered student organizations in good standing are invited to participate by decorating assigned windows to showcase their Vaquero pride.
K.I.S.S Meeting
The Korean International Student Society will meet from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. through Thursday in the Health Affairs West Building Room 1.406 on the Edinburg campus to talk about Korean culture, music and language.
Zumba
University Recreation will have a Zumba session from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. today and Wednesday in UREC Studio 1. The fitness program combines Latin and international music with dance moves, incorporating interval training to improve cardiovascular fitness.
Region 5 Exam Day
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Edinburg Student Branch will host the Region 5 Competitor Selection Exam Day from 5 to 8 p.m. in Engineering Building Room 1.300. Participants can spot on an IEEE ESB competition team for the upcoming Region 5 Conference through exams and presentations tailored to specific competitions.

Vaquero Boots & BBQ
The Student Union will host Vaquero Boots & BBQ from 6 to 10 p.m. on the Quad on the Edinburg campus as part of the Homecoming celebration. Students are encouraged to wear their best boots for a boot-judging competition. The event will feature free food, games and country music, including performances by Eros Garcia and RED. Activities include country line dance lessons, a mechanical bull and student organization fundraisers. A valid student ID is required.
