Meet the Candidates Fair
Meet the candidates for the 2019-2020 Student Government Association elections at 12:15 p.m. in Student Union Commons on the Edinburg campus. On the Brownsville campus, the event will take place at the same time on the Student Union lawn. The fair will also take place the same time and place Tuesday on both campuses. Diplomacy info session
Meet Julie Kavanagh, diplomat in residence for Texas for the U.S. Department of State, at 12:15 p.m. in Liberal Arts Building North Room 107 on the Edinburg campus. On the Brownsville campus, the event will take place at the same time in Salon Cassia. Kavanagh will offer information about internships and careers in diplomacy. For more information, call 665-2243.
Support Group
The Office of Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention will host a free support group at 12:15 p.m. in Health Affairs Building West 1.142 on the Edinburg campus. The support group is for dating, domestic violence and sexual assault victims and survivors. For more information, call 665-8287.
Student ensemble series
The UTRGV Men’s Choral Festival will take place at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Complex on the Edinburg campus. The festival will feature a professional men’s choir from San Antonio, ILLUMEN, and both Brownsville and Edinburg men’s choirs. More than 300 men are expected to perform. Admission is $5. ‘Super Smash Bros.’ tournament
A “Super Smash Bros.” tournament will take place at noon in the game room on the Edinburg campus. Students can play for free and get a chance to earn VBucks. For more information, call 665-7890.

The Learning Center will provide information about free services, resources and employment opportunities at noon in Music, Science and Learning Center Building Room 2.118 on the Brownsville campus. On the Edinburg campus, the event will take place at the same time in Learning Center Room 100. Free popcorn will be served. For more information, call 665-2585.

Spring Break trip
The Campus Programming Board will host a trip to Las Vegas from March 10 to 16. Tickets are $600 and include transportation, hotel, meal vouchers, tickets to the WAC tournament, a tour and a show.
