The UTRGV Counseling Center will host one-hour workshops from 3 to 4 p.m. in Salón Jacaranda in the Student Union on the Brownsville campus. Keep Calm & Vaquero On
The UTRGV Counseling Center will host workshops on stress management. In Edinburg, the workshop will take place at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Union’s Oleander Room and will focus on how to stay calm during stressful situations and identifying triggers. In Brownsville, the workshop is scheduled at 2 p.m. in the Student Union’s Salón Jacaranda and will center on reducing the negative, emotional, physical and mental health symptoms caused by stress. Bass trombone concert
Bass trombonist Noel Wallace, a musical educator and scholar, will perform at 7 p.m. in the TSC Arts Center on the Brownsville campus. General admission is $10, and $5 for seniors and students. The concert is part of the UTRGV Patron of the Arts program. For more information, call 882-7025.

The Center of Excellence in STEM Education presents Carrie Green and Stephen Duneier in two TED talks from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. at the UTRGV Stem Center, located in EMAGC 2.412 on the Edinburg campus.
