The UTRGV Counseling Center will host a workshop on improving well-being and lifting a low mood at 2 p.m. in the Student Union’s Salón Jacaranda on the Brownsville campus. The workshop is for students who have experienced difficulty with sadness, lack of energy and motivation or have felt disconnected from others. The UTRGV Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Lecturer Albert Lo, will perform at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center on the Edinburg campus. UTRGV Food Pantry will host a canned food drive from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in El Gran Salón on the Brownsville campus. Free food, games and activities will be available at the event. Donate five cans and receive a free Thanksgiving meal. For more information, call 665-7815.

Food Drive
UTRGV Academic Affairs Staff, in collaboration with the UTRGV Food Pantry, will host a food drive through Friday on both the Edinburg and Brownsville campuses. Items in high demand include canned and dried foods, along with fruit cups, juice and water. Items can be dropped off at the following locations: BCRTZ 213, BSETB 1.550, BMAIN 1.534, 2.306 and 2.504, BMSLC 2.213, BLHSB 2.202 and 2.402 on the Brownsville campus, and ELABN 234, EENGR 1.294, EEDUC 3.102, ELABS 334, ESCNE 4.601, ECOBE 114, ESSBL 5.104, EMASS 1.128 and ESTAC 3.107 on the Edinburg campus.
