RGV German Club

The RGV German Club will meet from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 2.212 on the Brownsville campus.

Swiftie Karaoke

The Student Union Game Room will host a Swiftie Karaoke event from 1 to 2 p.m. on the Brownsville campus. Students can register on V Link or at the Game Room to participate. A student ID is required.

K.I.S.S Meeting

The Korean International Student Society will meet from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. through Thursday in Health Affairs West Building Room 1.406 on the Edinburg campus to talk about Korean culture, music and language.

Zumba

University Recreation will host a Zumba session from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. today and Wednesday in UREC Studio 1 on the Edinburg campus. The fitness program combines Latin and international music with dance moves, incorporating interval training to improve cardiovascular fitness.

Tuesday

TKE General Meeting

Tau Kappa Epsilon will meet to discuss chapter material from 6 to 10 p.m. in the University Center Cenizo Room on the Edinburg campus. Meetings will be held weekly.

Healthy Relationships Webinar

University Recreation and Talk About It Texas will host an online webinar from 3 to 4 p.m. via Zoom. ID: 823 8348 0359. The session will explore key elements of healthy relationships, including communication, respect and boundaries in friendships, family and romantic partnerships.

Friendship Bracelets

The Baptist Student Ministry will host a friendship bracelet-making event from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Building South lobby on the Edinburg campus.

Why Do Catholics…?

The Catholic Student Association will host a discussion from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Student Union Room 2.328 on the Edinburg campus and at the same time on Tuesday in Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 2.220 on the Brownsville campus. The weekly series explores Catholic traditions and theology, welcoming all students and staff to engage in conversation and deepen their understanding of the faith.

Come Together

Phi Kappa Theta and the Student Accessibility Council will host a group meeting from 5 to 6 p.m. in Student Academic Center Room 1.102 on the Edinburg campus. This safe space encourages open discussions on mental health, providing young men a nonjudgmental environment to navigate semester challenges.

Cycle Fit

University Recreation will host a cycling class from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. in UREC Studio 1 on the Edinburg campus. Participants will pedal through hill climbs, sprints and challenging drills for a full-body cardiovascular workout. 

Wednesday

Mortal Kombat Tournament

A Mortal Kombat Tournament will take place at 11 a.m. in the Student Union Game Room on the the Brownsville  campus and at the same time on Wednesday in the Student Union Game Room on the Edinburg campus. Participants can register on V Link or at the Game Room for a chance to win V-Bucks. A student ID is required to play.

Made in His Image

The Baptist Student Ministry will host “Made in His Image” from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Liberal Arts Building South lobby on the Edinburg campus. The event focuses on spreading the Gospel through art.

FLA Workshop

The Freshman Leadership Academy will host a workshop on critical thinking at noon in Music, Science and Learning Center Room  1.105 on the Brownsville campus, and at the same time on Friday in Student Academic Center Room 1.101 on the Edinburg campus. 

Beta Alpha Psi Meeting

Beta Alpha Psi – Xi Phi Chapter will hold a meeting at 12:30 p.m. in Health Affairs Building East Room 1.114 on the Edinburg campus. 

Brownsville Accounting Association 

The Brownsville Accounting Association will meet at 12:30 p.m. in Interdisciplinary Academic Building Room 1.221 on the Brownsville campus. Members will discuss key topics and organization updates. Open to all interested students.

SGA Election Information Session

The Student Government Association will host an information session about the 2025-2026 Student Government Association elections at 3:30 p.m. in Student Union Room 2.328 on the Edinburg campus. Attendees can learn about SGA’s role and how to get involved.

Black History Month Celebration

The Center for Student Involvement will host an event honoring Black History Month noon in Student Union Room 2.36 on the Brownsville campus. This celebration will highlight the rich history, culture and contributions of the Black community.

Friday

CPR Certification 

University Recreation will host a CPR Certification Course from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Clinical Education Building on the Harlingen campus. Successful students will receive a certificate for CPR/AED valid for two years. Attendees must register online. Cost is $40.
