Q: Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?
A: “Fun fact? I like to travel the world.”
Q: Who or what got you started in soccer?
A: “When I was a lot younger, I used to play soccer with a lot of the boys in primary school back in England. And then, it was one of my friends who got me into playing football. She invited me along to play on the team with her and, ever since that day, I still play now.”
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration or role model?
A: “My mom. My mom does a lot for me. She helped me. She even coached one of my younger teams when I was just starting football. So, I think she’s definitely my biggest role model to keep playing.”
Q: What kind of music do you like to listen to?
A: “It varies. I think you can’t go wrong with a bit of pop. Everyone knows the words; everyone can get involved. So, pop is my favorite.”
Q: Any shows or movies you like to watch?
A: “I like ‘Prison Break’ and I like ‘Breaking Bad.’ My roommates and I watched ‘Breaking Bad’ last season throughout the whole semester.”
Q: Do you have any hobbies?
A: “Other than football, I quite like to play table tennis.”
Q: What is your biggest motivation?
A: “I’d say my biggest motivation is watching people play on the big stage like in World Cups and European tournaments. That’s always been a dream of mine: to try and play [there]. So, that keeps me going.”
Q: What do you like the most about UTRGV?
A: “I’d say the team. The girls definitely … keep me here. I enjoy it with them. And definitely the weather [because], being from England, the weather is dreadful. So, coming here and living in the sun every day is amazing.”
Q: What are your biggest goals?
A: “I’d say a goal for now would definitely be making it to [the Southland Conference] tournament and potentially winning the tournament. A future goal would be playing on a big stage somewhere.”
