A: “I have a very versatile taste in music. I listen to pretty much any genre, but my go-to probably would be R&B. My favorite R&B artist is Jhené Aiko, and then my favorite rapper is NBA YoungBoy. I would say right now, I’m on, like, ‘Pass The Water’ by Lil Durk. I’ve been listening to Hunxho. … He released an album not too long ago. Q: What do you like about the Rio Grande Valley?
A: “Definitely Taco Tuesday. Taco Tuesday is my jam. I like that [the Rio Grande Valley] is kind of small. I feel like it’s a controlled area but it’s enough that you can be occupied, but not enough to, like, get distracted or, like, be into a whole bunch of mess. The people are really sweet, like, it’s just a chill vibe out here.”
Q: Do you have a fun fact about yourself?
A: “I like to watch anime. I would say my favorite anime is, like, this short one season anime on Netflix, and it’s about this black samurai. It’s called ‘Yasuke’ … but it only has one season.”
Q: What are some of your goals?
A: “I want to start a business. I want to be an entrepreneur. I would like to get into property management at some point in time, but after I kind of establish myself in a professional place where I’m kind of stable.”
