What activities does Tau Beta Pi-Texas Nu perform? “So, one of our main things, we want to get the Bent [Monument], which represents the organization … and we want to bring it to the university. So, this recognizes a Tau Beta Pi Bent, but for that we need to fundraise. So, we’ve been doing small fundraising. Basically, selling food in the engineering [building] lobby and currently we’re trying to do a Ramos fundraising with Ramos BBQ & Catering. So, we’ll be selling plates.”
When and where do Tau Beta Pi-Texas Nu’s general meetings take place? “So, we meet every other Tuesday from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. in [the College of Engineering and Computer Science], Room 1.290.”
What are the membership requirements? “So, as an undergraduate student, you need to have a 3.5 GPA in your engineering courses. So, we mostly have juniors and seniors as members, because they need to have certain amount of hours in the engineering courses.”
