What are the differences between your hometown and the United States? “I think in France, it’s easier to, like, move in the country. Like here, if we don’t have a car, it’s really difficult. But in France, there are lots of … trains and we can travel in the country really easily. And for the scholar thing, I think it’s more difficult in France. Like, we have [a lot of] homework to do. We have to write a lot.”
If you could eat only one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? “It would be pasta because I really love it. Like, all types of pasta. Like, Italian and French cuisines are really good for me. They are the best. So, yeah, I could eat pasta every day.”
What is on your bucket list? “Travel [to] all countries in the world. I really, really love to travel. So, yeah, to check all countries, it will be awesome. Latin America, I really want to do a road trip there. Last year, I was in Mexico for one semester to do an internship. It was, like, my best experience. I really enjoyed it. I want to go back so much. And I’m really interested to, like, do a road trip in Latin America.”
Who is your role model? “My family. Like, my mother is really a role model because she’s really a hard worker. … My parents are really inspiring.”
Why did you choose business as your major? “Because in France, I am in a business school, also. So it was logical, but more specifically, I chose marketing classes. Since high school, I [have] wanted to discover marketing and I’ve always been in, like, internships in marketing, and I’ve always really liked it. Like, I want to work in … a marketing agency.”
What advice would you give other international students? “I think to go meet people. … It’s really a good experience, like, to discover a lot of things [about] you, but also … other cultures and other people coming from everywhere. So, it’s … a good experience to have in our life.”
