The next installment of UTRGV’s Distinguished Speaker Series, featuring actress Lana Condor, will be rescheduled for the Spring 2022 semester, university officials say.
“We just received word that Lana Condor will need to reschedule tomorrow’s event for next semester,” said Lauren Contreras, assistant director of Student Activities, in an email sent to The Rider earlier today. “We apologize for the inconvenience. We will get you an updated date as soon as possible.”
Condor is best known for her role as Lara Jean Covey in the Netflix movie series “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.”
The event would have taken place virtually at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Rider will provide updates as it receives them.
