The trade deadline for the 2017-2018 NBA season expired earlier today, which marked the last day any team can trade for the season.
Some of the trades made include the Cleveland Cavaliers trading guard Isaiah Thomas, a 2018 first-round pick and center Channing Frye for Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. and guard Jordan Clarkson, according to NBA.com.
Cleveland also participated in a three-team deal that will send Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert and Utah Jazz guard Joe Johnson to the Sacramento Kings.
Meanwhile, Cavaliers forward Jae Crowder and fellow guard Derrick Rose are headed to the Utah Jazz. In return, Cleveland will receive Utah Jazz guard Rodney Hood and Sacramento Kings guard George Hill. However, the Jazz want to waive Rose and are looking for another team to buy him out.
Another major trade from the Cavaliers is Dwayne Wade, who was traded back to the Miami Heat for a 2020 second-round pick.
The Denver Nuggets have also participated in a three-team deal, which will send Nuggets point guard Emmanuel Mudiay to the New York Knicks, Knicks forward Doug McDermott to the Dallas Mavericks, and the Nuggets will receive veteran guard Devin Harris.
The Toronto Raptors have traded Bruno Caboclo for Sacramento Kings guard Malachi Richardson.
Forward Brice Johnson of the Detroit Pistons and a second-round pick were traded for Memphis Grizzlies guard James Ennis.
The Atlanta Hawks traded forward Luke Babbitt for Miami Heat forward Okaro White, while the Orlando Magic has come into the mix late by trading Elfrid Payton to the Phoenix Suns for a second-round pick.
