The following are among the incidents reported to University Police between Jan. 16 and 19.
Jan. 16
4:30 p.m.: A staff member at the Casa Bella Apartments reported a man had been knocking on apartment doors asking for money. An officer issued a criminal trespass warning and escorted the man off campus without incident.
4:47 p.m.: A man reported finding a bullet in Lot B-7 on the Brownsville campus. The bullet was retrieved by an officer and submitted into evidence for destruction.
Jan. 17
11:16 a.m.: A male student reported having been assaulted by another male student while at the Health & Physical Education Building I on the Edinburg campus. The case is under investigation.
Jan. 19
10:39 a.m.: A student reported the back window of his vehicle was shattered while it was parked in Lot E-9 on the Edinburg campus. An investigation concluded that groundskeeping had cut the grass adjacent to the vehicle.
