The following are among the incidents reported to University Police between Jan. 24 and 26.
Jan. 24
3:50 p.m.: An officer responded to an off-campus traffic collision involving a university vehicle. An Edinburg Police officer generated the accident report and investigation. No injuries were reported, only property damage.
6:42 p.m.: A staff member reported a bag that contained a university iPad was stolen from his golf cart on the Edinburg campus. The case is under investigation.
Jan. 26
7:58 a.m.: A staff member reported his vehicle was struck while it was parked in Lot E-27 on the Edinburg campus. There was minor damage to the right back-quarter panel. The case is under investigation.
8:33 a.m.: An officer responded to the 1500 block of West Van Week Street in Edinburg in reference to a two-vehicle minor traffic collision involving a university shuttle golf cart. Both affiliated operators reported no injuries, only minor damage to both vehicles.
11:05 a.m.: A student reported her identity was used without her consent to purchase a university parking permit. The case is under investigation.
