The VOLT system has three circuits in Edinburg and two on the Brownsville campus. FERNANDO RAMIREZ/THE RIDER Parking and Transportation Services driver Jonathan Ramirez waits for passengers last Friday in front of Main Building on the Brownsville campus. The VOLT operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and takes specific routes with designated stops. The VOLT follows three circuits on the Edinburg campus and two on the Brownsville campus. A live map of current locations of vehicles en route is provided by Ride Systems, a mobile app, to help students track the vehicles provided by Parking and Transportation Services. The system is now running on both campuses from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a five-minute frequency to each stop.
