What is the main purpose of the club? “To go out and compete and represent the school of UTRGV. So, a lot of people don’t know about Ultimate Frisbee, because down here in the [Rio Grande] Valley it’s an unknown sport, but when you go up to San Antonio, Houston, Austin, Dallas, you know, up north, it’s more known. So what we want to try to do is try to bring that sport down here and make everyone knowledgeable of that sport and, hopefully, create a bigger fan base here in the RGV.”
Highest level of competition: Ultimate Frisbee National Championship
Season: Spring
Meetings: 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays in the UREC softball field.
