“I don’t really have a woman, or if anything, I would say my mom. Not, like, anyone specifically about women. I’m glad that they’re finally speaking up in various situations. Like, in different countries, they’re speaking up where women don’t have rights and now they’re finally getting their rights back and I’m glad that’s happening. I’m glad to be a woman.”

“I would probably say all the women in my family. I come from a family of very strong women and I know my grandmother was very adamant in instilling the belief that women can do anything, can be anything and that women have such a vital importance in our daily lives. Not just the femininity and the masculinity, but as well as their place economically, philosophically and politically. It’s very important. Speaking to my grandmother, as she would tell me stories from 50, 60 years ago on how little women had in rights and respect. It’s just disappointing. I’m glad that now we’re at a point where women get the respect, the recognition and their placement that they deserve.”

“Una de las mujeres que más influye en mi vida es mi mamá. … Ella me inspira mucho [en] mi carrera porque ella tuvo cáncer de mama y lo superó. Pues, yo quiero estudiar medicina para poder ayudar a personas como ella, que tienen cáncer … y cualquier otra enfermedad”.

“One of the women that is a big influence to me is Emma Watson, just because even with her very famous and good acting career, she still went back to school to get a degree, just because she finds education that important.”
