“A place I went to recently was called Fruit and Salad, next to Subway, here next to Stripes. It’s kind of like a knock-off of Siempre Natural in many ways, but it’s closer to the university and it provides the same sort of options as far smoothies, healthy alternatives to chicken salad. Affordability is important for students. We’re health conscious. We’ve got to be careful about what we put in our bodies. Things like that are important to me.”
“Around campus, there is a place called Luciano’s on Schunior. I find that I go there pretty often just because I’m a big fan of Italian food. Other than that, I tend to go a little bit further down on 10th Street to Costa Messa and usually get a botana whenever I’m in the mood for Mexican food. Other than that, I just stick to the area. Fast food, Jack in the Box and Long John Silver’s.
“I wanted to mention that El Comedor has really good food but it is really expensive. It would be better if it was cheaper or if they sell at better prices.”
