Electrical engineering junior
“My New Year’s resolutions are, actually, worry less and do more, just because I always feel that I’m always second guessing myself. And this new year, I just definitely want to do what I want to do and, sort of, take action in whatever clubs and, sort of, worry about it afterwards and just have fun doing it, you know?”

Art senior
“I want to save up money and move out to live on my own and have some independence and be closer to campus and finish off and get a job, hopefully, near home.”

Psychology senior
“My New Year’s resolutions are to dedicate more time for myself, because last semester, and really most of my academic time here at UTRGV, I have put a lot of pressure on myself and I’m always doing homework and I rarely leave time for myself. That has left me very stressed out and, so, this semester, well this year, my resolution is to be more compassionate with myself, so I can diminish my stress.”

Communication studies senior
“I’m looking forward towards this year. My resolution is to finish off the semester strong, graduate and look for a full-time position within the university. Anything in higher ed, honestly, just to make an impact on students’ lives.”
