“Well, right now, I am not exactly sure what I want to do for my career. But I think as of now, UTRGV has really supported my indecision for a goal, and I think going forward I’m gonna have a lot of help here, and that is just really great.”
“Yes, ’cause they provide a bunch of different services on the campus like tutoring, and all of that, like [Peer-Led Team Learning], and I feel they give a lot of support if you are struggling in any classes.”
“Yeah, by mostly online, ’cause they use Handshake to apply for internships ’cause now is the time to do it, and they advertise.”
“I feel I am supported in my career as an art teacher because the courses that I take give me a general understanding of art [and] it allows me to improve. Though, I do feel that there should be more advanced art courses that should be available in that degree course. … As an art education major, there are also art education courses and, like, clinical training as well as certification, which does help with employment after school, which I feel is really helpful as an art teacher.”
“UTRGV offers us opportunities through internships, and I feel that helps us prepare for our career due to the hands-on experience that we get from it and all the learning experience we gain from the internship.”
