“Voting, to me, is a right and I think students and individuals should utilize it in order to voice their opinions on political policies that affect us as citizens and, of course, affect our families and friends. So, I think it’s something very important in our lives.”
“For me, voting is a means to an end. Voting for whichever party or person represents your ideals, things that you believe in and what they, hopefully, are going to enact their policies or whatever they plan on doing. So, yeah, I guess voting just is a way of an individual expressing what they want politically and idealistically.”
“To me, voting means a right to any person who selects their opinion through a person who will fulfill and do things like that.”
“I think voting is not only a part of adulting but it’s important because you’re trying to get your voice heard and you’re trying to, basically, select the future leaders to represent us. So, I say it’s a big deal.”
“Voting … means you exercising your right as a citizen and, like, choosing, like, what is important for you and getting involved in, like, politics and getting involved in government as a citizen.”
“Voting gives me an opportunity not only to have someone, you know, be the voice for me, but also to share the same opinion with someone and to have someone represent me. That’s what voting means to me.”
