Texas will be the first state to host a 2018 Primary Election on March 6 and people who want to take part only have a few hours left to register to vote.
Voters will elect their party’s nominees for offices ranging from U.S. senators, governors and other state office holders, as well as local county officials and judges.

Registering online is not an option in Texas.
To register, Texans must pick up a voter registration application, fill it out and mail it at least 30 days before the election date.
The Application for a Ballot by Mail (ABBM) and Federal Post Card Application (FPCA) for the upcoming Primary Election opened Jan. 1, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s website.

Voters may print out an application online here. They must submit their registration to the county where they are a resident. Mailed applications must be postmarked by today.

Early voting will take place from Feb. 20 to March 2.
