Freshman Sandra Putz hits a forehand shot against freshman Lizi Morgoshia of Chicago State University during the Western Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament last Friday at the Brownsville Tennis Center. UTRGV defeated Chicago State University 4-1 in the first round and was scheduled to face Grand Canyon University in the semifinals last Saturday. Results were unavailable at press time.
